I have 4 year old identical twin boys.  They were born at 30 weeks
and had developmental delays due to prematurity.  I am a strong
advocate for early intervention.  I have served as social chair,

I have 2 years old fraternal twin boys and 12 year old daughter.  My
twins were born two months early but fortunately after a few minor
preemie issues at birth, they have been healthily growing little
boys.  I have been in this club for almost two years.  I have helped
with social committee and am now serving as 1st VP-programs.

I have a 6 year old son & 3 year old fraternal twin girls. Despite all
my fears, my multiple pregnancy went to 37 weeks and the girls were
born healthy and with no complications. I have been an active

I am originally from Hickory, NC and have lived in Wilmington for
10 years.  I have 18 month old identical twin girls and a 4 year old
daughter.  The twins were born 6 weeks premature but are now
happy healthy growing girls.  Before my girls were born I worked as
a real estate agent here in Wilmington.  I currently serve as the
Membership Chair for the Cape Fear Mothers of Twins Club and am
going back to school for a degree in Nursing.

After many challenging years of trying to have children, my
husband and I welcomed boy/girl twins in 2006.  I was fortunate to
have a smooth pregnancy and to deliver at full term.  Following the
birth of our twins, we moved from Greensboro to Wilmington in
order to be closer to family.  I grew up here, but haven't lived in
Wilmington in 17 years.  I joined Cape Fear Mothers of Twins last
year and look forward to becoming more involved this year as 3rd
VP - State/National Representative.

I have lived in Wilmington my whole life with the exception of
college.  I am from a huge family so the idea of having twins wasn't
that scary of an idea...at first.  I have a 4 year old son and 21 mo
old boy/girl twins.  They were delivered at 29 1/2 weeks and had a
lengthy stay in the NICU.  My boy twin has developmental delays
from the prematurity but has come a long way.  I am a huge
advocate for Early Intervention and Special Needs.  I have
previously served as Secretary and on the social committee.

I have 2 1/2 year old fraternal twin girls.  They were born at 30
weeks and due to this, one twin has had extensive complications.
The C.D.S.A. has provided a wide-range of early intervention
services to our family.  I am attending U.N.C.W. towards a degree in
Nutrition/Health Education.  I have helped on the social
committee and now serve as the social chair.
